What can a trip below the waves do for your class?

Combining active, hands-on learning with fascinating educational talks and an opportunity to have an up close and personal encounter with a variety of sea creatures, a visit to SEA LIFE is an educational experience like no other.

SEA LIFE caters for every ability level and learning style, using a unique combination of auditory, visual and kinaesthetic learning opportunities, children are encouraged to have supervised, hands-on contact with live sea creatures in the touch pool, a highlight of the trip for many children.

Educational Talks & VIP Tours

SEA LIFE offer talks on a variety of marine related subjects and tailor them to your groups age range and curriculum topics. All talks are delivered by our visitor education team, chosen for their ability to engage and relate to children.

VIP Tours*

Get more out of your SEA LIFE visit with a VIP tour. A marine expert will be assigned to your group to help deliver a more memorable, more educational and more fascinating experience for an extra £1.50 per pupil. (minimum requirement of 10 pupils per group).

*Group sizes may vary and tours are subject to availability.

Free familiarisation visits for teachers

We offer free planning visits for teachers that have booked a school trip to SEA LIFE so that they have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with our centres and facilities. To arrange your free visit please enquire at the time of booking.

Free return visit for every child

At the end of your visit, each child will be given a ‘SEA LIFE Expert' certificate which includes a voucher entitling them to a FREE return visit (when accompanied by a full paying adult.) This provides them with the opportunity to show their family what they have learnt.
